Girls, Strike it out! Youth Safeguarding: Athletic and Anti-harassment Training Workshop
The Taiwan Sports Forward Association has always been attentive to and actively promoting gender equality in sports leadership. During the event, Chairman Lewis Hsieh gave the children three important messages:
Do not allow others to touch your body.
Do not give up on learning.
Do not give up on sports.
We hope that every child can continue to grow in a safe environment! Moreover, during the event, Vice President William Lai and WBSC Executive Director Michael Schmidt recorded special videos to encourage the children.
Children are the most important assets of a nation, and child and youth athletes are the foundation of sports. We must provide more nurturing and investment in child and youth athletes to achieve Taiwan's goal of using sports to strengthen the nation! The Taiwan Sports Good Deeds Association invites all those who care about child and youth athletes and the sports environment to become their supporters. Together, let's strive for a safe sports environment and through education, empower children to protect themselves, learn mutual respect, and bravely speak out against harassment and harm, creating a safer and friendlier sports arena together!
